Full-time I Starting at $18/hr. Monday-Friday 8:30 AM -5:00PM

Medicap Home Medical is seeking a full-time Cleaning Service Technician I based in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will support our Service department and Receiving department.

What You will Do

• Clean incoming equipment thoroughly following manufacturers' specifications keeping dirty and clean equipment segregated in designated areas
• Record and tag clean equipment according to company policy
• Cover and deliver clean equipment to proper area for testing or storage
• Inspect and test equipment according to manufacturers' specifications
• Complete and update all maintenance logs as applicable
• Keep workspace clean and free of trash
• Complete all required continuing education hours annually in accordance with accrediting organization.
• Assist and back up Receiving Technician as needed
• Perform other tasks as instructed by supervisor

• Ability to safely use standard tools and all cleaning products & inspect tools correctly
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to use computer systems
• Ability to read and write legibly
• Ability to lift, position, and maneuver loads from 50 to 150 lbs. frequently, with frequent squatting, bending, and twisting
• Ability to provide an active Iowa driver's license
